February Challenge

Welcome to February

I've chosen a palette from Design Seeds this month.

How do these colours inspire you?

This month is a just for fun month embracing what crafting should be about - having fun so there is no link but we would love to see your creations via the comments section. For some inspiration here is what the design team created:

The colours in this months challenge are right up my street so when my friend Lea asked me to help her scrap her photos of Paris I knew exactly what I was going to do. I have used lots of products and techniques and full pictorial details can be found on my blog.

Astrid
Difficult colors to use for me, but this photo of my stepdaughter let me use some pink and purple.

Shell here, with my creation for this month. I just love these colours & the flowers in the photo are just beautiful. So I decided to use both flowers & colours & ended up making this....I hope you like it!

I loved the colours for this challenge and I was inspired to grab my art journal! The quote that I chose was inspired by the photo!

We will have some news for you later in the month about a different direction we are taking.

The main focal point uses my Original Asian Geisha Digital Stamp Design.
I colored her with a combination Bic and Sharpie markers

January Challenge

Welcome to 2015. We hope you had a great 2014 and that 2015 brings you health and happiness.

Our challenge this month is a design seeds one from here

How does this colour palette and cheeky chap inspire you?

This month is just for fun so there is no link up button but if you want to show us your creation please leave a comment.

Here is what our design team created this month:

I used Gelatos and Stampendous Frantage heat embossing powder to decorate the mask.
Below is a close up of one of Kerry's crocheted broaches I added with finishes it off beautifully as I'm sure you will agree.

Hi wishing all readers from The Craft Garden Blog a Happy and Creative New Year!! Hoping you will play along with us again this year :-) The color combo of this challenge made me think for a long time what to use. I finally choose these that came the closest to the combo.

I decided to use a new image I had for Christmas of my girlies. Just love her she is a real cutie & a dream to colour. I then decided on what colour out of the choices we had to use & here you go the finished result.... I hope you like it x

I'm still in Christmas mode with the blues and silvers but I tried to put a wintery spin on this card.  I love how the snowman seems to be not entirely happy.  Perhaps there's sun on the horizon....

For my first project for this year, I have created an Arty ATC with the gorgeous color scheme from our color swatch at the top of this post. The main focal point is a digital image I created from one of the pieces from my ephemera collection. For accents, I also used a paper doily, peach embroidery thread, netting and a clear rhinestone.

I do hope everyone that stops by will join us in this challenge and I look forward to seeing your creations, :)
