July Challenge

Welcome to July.

This month we are very lucky to be sponsored by My Heart Pieces. Priyanka has kindly offered 3 digital images of the winners choice as the prize.

On 15th July St Swithins Day traditionally means whatever the weather that day will continue for 40 days.  Typical British weather will probably mean a mix of sunshine and showers. What a crazy month June was for weather and July looks to be pretty much the same.  I found this amazing umbrella image which sums it up for me.  So your challenge this month is to take inspiration from the image.

As always you can only enter 4 other challenges with the project you enter into this one and entry is limited to 3 projects per person.

The photograph in the layout below is very special not just because its of my Mam and nephew but because this is the first time Grandma and Grandson met! My mam turned 80 at the end of March and met Callum this Easter when we had a family get together. Callum and his wife Gemma are here in the UK for the first time, they came from Canberra, Australia to travel and meet the rest of the family.
The pansies I used are by Jolee's and are just fabulous embellishments so it was an easy choice to use them when I saw this months challenge.

Eleni

I was inspired by the image to make these art journal pages:

Pansies are one of my favourite spring flowers and I thought they would look great in my book!

Kelly

I was inspired by the gorgoeus rich colours and the flowers on the umbrella!

Luanne

Love the different colors of the flowers for today's inspiration and used them on my card.

Cathy
I went for the colours and contrast in the colours, and the effect of splattering rain on the background.
